    Poco, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, has announced its newest flagship smartphone in the country. One of India’s most anticipated new phones right now is the Poco M4 Pro, a 50MP camera-centric smartphone that runs on MIUI 12.5 on top of Android 11.     The Poco M4 Pro 5G is available in three different variants. The basic model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage costs Rs 14,999, while the 6GB+128GB model costs Rs 16,999, and the top-of-the-line 8GB+128GB model will cost you Rs 18,999. The smartphone is available in three color options: Power Black, Cool Blue, and Poco Yellow, and it will be available for purchase on Flipkart beginning on February 22 at noon local time.

    The Poco M4 Pro Specifications

    The M4 Pro is equipped with an octa-core Dimensity 810 CPU, which is manufactured using a 6nm technology, and an ARM Mali-G57 graphics processor is paired with the processor for better performance during gaming. The phone has up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage; it also has compatibility for a microSD card of up to 1TB storage capacity and Turbo RAM (Virtual RAM) support of up to 3GB in size. The phone measures 163.56 x 75.78 x 8.75mm and weighs 195 grams. Its dimensions are 163.56 x 75.78 x 8.75mm, and its weight is 195 grams.

    The phone is equipped with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, twice as quickly as the typical 60Hz display. Additionally, it enables a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, which, according to Poco, is twice as fast as the standard 120Hz sampling rate. Support for HDR10 is included, as is Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

    With a triple camera setup on the back, the Poco M4 Pro 5G captures images in high resolution with 50MP shooter. It also features a secondary camera with an 8MP ultra wide angle lens and a third camera with a 5MP macro lens. The main camera has an aperture of f/1.8, while the ultra-wide-angle lens has an aperture of f/2.4. The camera also includes a built-in flash. The smartphone boasts a 16MP camera on the front, which can be used for video calling and taking selfies. The M4 Pro is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W rapid charging.

    The Poco M4 Pro is integrated with a fingerprint scanner, which is located on the side of the smartphone, as well as dual stereo speakers for sound. 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.1, Wifi , an IR blaster, GPS/ A-GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are among the connectivity options available on the phone.

    The new Poco M4 Pro 5G will be available for purchase on Flipkart at noon on February 22, 2022. The phone was revealed as part of an online event held by the firm, broadcast live on the internet. Given the Poco M4 PRO’s mid-budget pricing, it is in direct rivalry with several popular budget devices from competitors like Oppo and Vivo. In contrast, the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G begins at Rs. 16,999 for the basic 4GB + 64GB option, while the Vivo T1 5G is available for Rs. 17,490 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, according to the company.
