Vivo has just introduced its flagship-grade Vivo X80 lineup to the rest of the world a month after the initial launch in China. Some of the key specifications of the phones include high-performance Qualcomm and MediaTek CPUs, 120Hz LTPO AMOLED screens, ZEISS cameras, and other flagship-level specifications.
The Vivo X80 line of smartphones, which includes the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered X80 Pro and the Dimensity 9000-powered X80 has been also unveiled in Malaysia for the first time. The phones are in the high-end segment and are only available in a single RAM+storage configuration.
Let’s have a detailed look at the specifications of the Vivo X80 lineup.

Vivo X80 Lineup Specifications
Both smartphones are equipped with a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display manufactured by Samsung that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. A Full HD+ screen is provided on the Pro model, whereas the ordinary model has a panel with a maximum resolution of 2K on the QHD display on the Pro model.
The camera arrangement on both devices is also similar. The lenses rest upon a rectangular base. the Vivo X80 Pro and the X80 contain a 32MP selfie camera with a punch-hole design in the top center. The Vivo X80 Pro, on the other hand, has a quad-camera arrangement on the back, which includes a 50MP Samsung GNV sensor with optical image stabilization, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, a 12MP depth sensor, and an 8MP periscope lens with optical image stabilization.
The gadget is equipped with the company’s V1 + ISP technology, which is designed to minimize noise and improve the photographic experience via the use of AI-powered features.
The basic X80 comes with three back cameras. The Vivo X80 has a 50MP main RGB lens with optical image stabilization, as well as a 12MP ultra-wide lens for landscape photography and a 12MP depth sensor for portrait photography. Zeiss technologies, such as Zeiss T*coating, Zeiss Cinematic Bokeh, and Zeiss Natural Color 2.0 are included in the camera configurations on both the X80 Pro and the regular-priced X80.

The Vivo X80 Pro comes with the power of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which can be combined with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS memory. The phone is also available in China as the Dimensity 9000 model.
The Vivo X80, on the other hand, is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor and can accommodate up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
For those concerned about their battery life, the higher-end Vivo X80 Pro comes equipped with a 4,700mAh battery that supports wired charging up to 80W and wireless fast charging up to 50W. The battery capacity of the Vivo X80 is reduced to 4,500mAh, however, it still has rapid charging features.
In addition to these features, the Vivo X80 smartphones are compatible with 5G networks, the newest Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 technologies, as well as NFC. Both variants are powered by FunTouch OS 12, which is based on Android 12. Vivo has not yet announced a release date for the X80 Pro or X80 Plus smartphone models.
