Audi India has introduced an entry-level Audi A4 Premium to cater to clients on a tight budget in the country. The Audi A4 Premium is the newest addition to the A4 lineup, and it will be available for purchase in India for Rs 39.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Audi A4 already has two variants in its lineup, the Audi A4 Premium Plus, and the A4 Technology. The newly introduced A4 Premium, on the other hand, will be the most affordable of the three models. The Audi A4 Premium Plus is now available for purchase for Rs 43.69 lakh, while the top-of-the-line A4 Technology is available for purchase for Rs 47.61 lakh. Both costs are ex-showroom and may vary depending on the state in which you live.
“The Audi A4 has done very well since its introduction in January, and the vehicle has proven to be a volume seller for the German automobile manufacturer Audi,” says Balbir Singh Dhillon, the company’s head of operations in India. Audi A4 Premium was created to celebrate the company’s success in 2021, according to the company.

‘This is a time for celebration, and we couldn’t be happier to be able to provide our customers with three different options to pick from. We are hopeful that the decision to introduce the Audi A4 will lead to an increase in the number of people who buy an Audi and become a member of the Audi family.’ Balbir Singh Dhillon went on to say more.
The A4 Premium, the entry-level model in the A4 lineup, will come equipped with a slew of high-end features, including an Audi Sound System, six airbags, leather, and leatherette upholstery, LED headlamps and taillamps, a glass sunroof, Audi’s Drive Select driving modes, wireless charging, auto climate control, single color ambient lighting in the car, adjustable seats, front and rear parking sensors, and a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen.
As a lower-priced option to the top-of-the-line A4 Technology, the Premium model will be devoid of several amenities found in the top model, such as Multi-Zone Climate Control, the Virtual Cockpit, Gesture Control Boot Open, Multi-Coloured Ambient Lighting, and five-spoke alloy wheels.

You’ll get to see a 2-liter turbocharged petrol engine mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission under the hood, which delivers 320Nm of torque and 190hp while using less fuel. ACCORDING TO THE VEHICLE MANUFACTURER, the A4 is said to be capable of reaching speeds of 0-100kmph in 7.3 seconds. The car’s highest speed has been measured at 241 kilometers per hour.
Audi A4 Premium and its competitors
Audi A4 will face stiff competition from competitor brand cars such as the Volvo S60, which is priced at Rs 45.90 lakh, and the Mercedes Benz C Class, priced at Rs 50.01, and the BMW 3 Series, which is priced between Rs 44.90 and Rs 50.90 lakh.
The Audi A4 Premium will be able to compete with luxury sedans from a lower price range, such as the BMW 2 Series (Rs 39.50-41.90 lakh), Mercedes-Benz A-class sedan (Rs 41.20-43.20 lakh), and the top-spec Skoda Superb L&K (Rs 49.99 lakh), thanks to its competitive starting price of Rs 39.99 lakh (Rs 35.85 lakh).
