iQoo, a Chinese mobile company, has launched its latest smartphones, iQoo Neo series 5S and Neo 5 SE, in a recent event in China. These newly launched smartphones came as an addition to the iQoo’s existing 5 series. Some of the highlighting features of the smartphones include up to 12GB RAM support, three rear cameras set up, and a high screen refresh rate that increases the user’s touch and gaming experience, fast charging support, and attractive color option availability.
iQoo Neo 5S specifications
Neo 5S, out of the iQoo Neo Series, has a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. The company says that it has deployed a dedicated display chip that enhances the viewing experience on the Neo 5S smartphone. For better performance, Neo 5S has deployed the snapdragon 888 SoC chip that will work together with LPDDR5 12GB RAM and supports up to UFS 3.1 256GB of ROM. The phone will run on Andriod 12 powered OriginOs Ocean. The smartphone also includes rare earth minerals for heat dissipation, which is more than a good feature. Additionally, the phone will offer dual sim slots that house Nano sims as standard.
The iQoo Neo series 5S is supercharged with a triple camera installation on the backside that comprises a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 as the primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an f/2.0 aperture. The rest two cameras on the smartphone are a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. At the same time, the smartphone’s selfie camera has a 16MP lens, which is located on the front of the device.
A 4,500mAh battery powers the smartphone with 66W fast charging support. It has 5G connectivity, Bluetooth V5.1, and a Type-C charging port. Talking about the sensors, the phone has a proximity sensor, magnetometer, accelerometer, and ambient light sensor. The fingerprint scanner is mounted on the edge of the phone.

iQoo Neo 5 SE specifications
Neo 5SE, another variant of the iQoo Neo series, like its higher variant, has a triple camera setup on the back. The primary sensor is 50MP, and the remaining two are an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro lens. The front side of the phone has a 16MP selfie camera.
The screen size of Neo SE is 6.3. with a 144Hz screen refresh rate. The phone has a full HD LCD and runs on Android 12 based OriginOS Ocean. Under the hood, there’s a Qualcomm snapdragon 870 SoC chip that works together with 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 ROM.
The phone’s battery capacity is 4,500mAh, which supports fast-charging up to 55W, which is slightly slower than Neo 5S. This variant also has a liquid cooling feature along with 5G connectivity, 4G LTE support, USB Type-C charging port, and Bluetooth V5.1. The sensors onboard are the same as seen on the Neo 5S. The fingerprint scanner is side-mounted, which comes as a standard feature of the iQoo Neo series.

iQoo Neo Series 5S and SE Price
The iQoo Neo 5S is available in three different variations. Starting price of the phone is CNY 2699, which has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (roughly Rs. 32,100). Priced at CNY 2899 (about Rs. 34,500), the iQoo phone’s entry-level variant has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while the highest model has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is available at CNY 3199 (roughly Rs. 38,000). Both models of the iQoo Neo series are available in black and white.
On the other hand, A identical configuration is available in the basic model of the iQoo Neo 5 SE, which has 8GB of RAM plus 128GB ROM, and its price is pegged at CNY 2199. (roughly Rs. 26,100). There are two configurations available: one with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage for CNY 2399 (approximately Rs. 28,500), and another with 12GB RAM with 256GB storage for CNY 2599 (about Rs. 30,500).
iQOO Neo 5S comes in the following color variants: blue, orange, and black. The iQOO Neo 5 SE is available in three colors: blue, white, and multicolor.
The variants of the iQoo Neo series, 5S, and the iQoo Neo 5 SE smartphones are now available for pre-order within China. The smartphones are speculated to be available on sale on 24 December and 28 December in China, respectively.
