Amitabh Bachchan’s NFT Collectibles Sold FOr $1 Million, Thankful To His Supporters

The megastar of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan received an overwhelming response to his Non-Fungible Token collections of Madhushala, a set of original poems written by Amitabh’s father Harivanshrai Bachchan and voiced by Amitabh Bachchan. Along with the poetry, autographed posters of his films and other collectibles were also a part of the auction in the format of Non-Fungible Token.

The auction of Amitabh’s stuff was organized on the digital platform of Beyond life, an NFT marketplace powered by a decentralized blockchain technology firm called Guardian Link. The sale started on November 1 and was live till November 4.

Mashushala has some of the best poems of Harivanshrai Bachchan. His lyrics are widely popular even after decades. Harivanshrai’s Mashushala saw the highest bidding on the platform at $756000 till the time auction ended. The audio poems recorded in the voice of Amitabh Bachchan received bids for Rs 420K on the first day of the auction itself.

Amitabh has moreover put seven autographed posters of his blockbuster movies and a few collectibles as well. His collection of signed posters and other collectibles has received more than $1 lakh on the first launch day.

A feature called Loot Box was also offered during the NFT sale. Loot Box has to be purchased at $10, and every buyer of the loot box receives a guaranteed collectible from the loot box. More than 3 lakh cryptocurrency enthusiasts have offered bids for $50000.

The exclusive publication of vintage posters and a digital Non-Fungible Token certificate from beyond life.club was sold for $94,052. Also, the AFT arts and BigB Punks were sold for $66900.

Beyond life, a coalition between Guardianlink.io and Rhiti Entertainment had jointly promulgated that they are arranging the sale of Amitabh’s NFT collectibles on their NFT platform. The online auction was held for four days, starting from November 1 to November 4, 2021.

A new form of blockchain has become a buzz amongst celebrities and the social media industry after Amitabh’s collectible sale received such an overwhelming response from his fans.

Non Fungible Tokens use blockchain technology to register the ownership of assets that are held digitally, such as posters, images, videos, or audios. NFTs are still in a nascent stage but have recorded a growth in multifold in less time.

A Malayalam actor Dulquer Salman was also amongst the celebrities who enjoyed NFT sales. An Abu Dhabi-based company called Ammbr tied up with Dulquer Salman last month to auction his latest movie posters exclusively signed by Dulquer and the movie director Srinath Rajendran.

As per the reports, some of the famous celebrities, including Mika Singh, Rapper Raftaar, and talented YouTuber Amit Bhadana have also tied up with NFT platforms.
