On Wednesday, the Chinese smartphone brand iQOO launched the iQOO 9 series smartphones in India. The newly launched lineup includes the IQOO 9 Pro, IQOO 9 SE, and IQOO 9. The IQOO 9 Pro is the top-of-the-line variant that boasts a Snapdragon Qualcomm 8 Gen 1 processor. The rest of the variants ship with Snapdragon Qualcomm 888+ processors. Pre-order for the iQOO 9 Pro and iQOO 9 starts from February 23.
The company said IQOO 9 Series pre-orders would be open from February 23 for the iQOO 9 Pro and March 2 for the iQOO 9 SE. Pre-orders for both the models will be available on Amazon India and iQOO’s e-store. Let us have a look at IQOO 9 series variants.

IQOO 9 Pro Specifications
IQOO announced the iQOO 9 Pro, a flagship smartphone in its iQOO series. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC powers the iQOO 9 Pro, which has a 6.78-inch 2K E5 AMOLED display with a dynamic screen refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 1,000Hz. Audio is taken care of by dual stereo speakers, and there’s LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage on board.
The IQOO 9Pro feature Qualcomm’s FlashCharge fastcharging technology,which can charge the 4,700 mAh battery from 0% to 80% in under 20 minutes utilising a specialised chip for increased gaming performance. Wireless charging is alsosupported via a 50W wireless charger named FlashWireless Charge. Photography is handled by a primary 50MP sensor, paired with a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens of up to 150 degrees field of view. A 16MP telephoto sensor with 2.5x optical zoom is available as well.
IQOO 9 Specifications
The iQOO 9 is a trimmed-down version of the flagship iQOO, removing a few key features.
The Snapdragon 888+ SoC powers the functions of the IQOO 9, paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It sports a 6.56-inch 10-bit AMOLED screen of 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 1000Hz touch sampling rate. It has a 6.56-inch 10-bit AMOLED panel with a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 1000Hz.
The phone sports a specialized display chip and twin stereo speakers for increased gaming performance. It has a 4,350 mAh battery and a 120W fast-charge system called FlashCharge. The brand has ensured that the performance of the phone during heavy gaming is not compromised. So, IQOO has also retained the display chip in the trimmed-down variant.
The iQOO 9 from the IQOO 9 series does not support wireless charging and has a considerably different camera setup. The rear camera configuration includes a 48MP main lens, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 13MP telephoto lens.

IQOO 9 SE Specifications
The 6.62-inch AMOLED screen of the iQOO 9 is powered by a 120Hz refresh rate, providing a smooth experience while gaming or watching videos. It supports up to 1000Hz touch sampling rate, making it ideal for use with mobile VR headsets.
The phone’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC provides a robust configuration for most day-to-day uses. When it comes to the cameras on the rear of the IQOO 9 SE, it boasts a 48MP primary lens, a 13MP ultra wide angle lens, and a 2MP mono lens. The IQOO 9 SE has a 4,500 mAh battery and 66W wired fast charging.
