Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge and 11i Battery Functionality
Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge is the first device of Xiaomi to boast the company’s proprietary 120W hyper charging technology. 11i HyperCharge has Dual Charge Pumps that manage the volume and amperage of the battery to contain the increased wattage input. Another feature called Multiple Tab Windings extends the duration of high current and facilitates the monitoring of cell current and voltage, reducing the charging time. 11i lineup smartphones house Graphene Li-ion batteries that have better superior conductivity than regular Li-ion batteries. The vapor cooling chamber is also used in the Xiaomi devices for better heat dissipation.
120W charging raises many questions as there is always a blast risk. To minimize the chances of such incidents, the tech company has included safety features in the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge and 11i smartphones. Xiaomi’s HyperChrage Technology is certified with TUV Rheinland Fast Charging Certification. There are additionally nine thermal sensors on the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, which are responsible for monitoring the device’s real-time temperature.
Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge smartphone houses a 4,500mAh battery with 120W support, while the 11i comes with a 5,160mAh battery with 67W turbo charge support.
