The introduction of NFTs, non-fungible tokens, into the world of digital coins has added a new dimension to the opportunities and uses of blockchain technology. It’s not surprising that the NFTs have entered the fray when technological advancements are at a breakneck pace and new opportunities emerge every day. However, NFTs are still relatively unknown to the general public, and this may represent an initial barrier to mass adoption.

The idea of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) isn’t new. NFTs were first introduced to the world of digital coins in October 2015. The project was called Etheria. But it wasn’t until 2017 that they began to gain significant traction. Their novelty has generated a lot of excitement and has given rise to their use in the gaming and art industries.

NFTs came into broad light in India, specifically after news about India’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan flashed on many news platforms for earning more than seven crore rupees through his NFT collection sale in November last year. It’s been a while for NFTs to reaching to the ears of people, and they are growing in popularity. When it comes to knowing something from top to bottom, NFTs are still abstruse. But then, some curious minds keep exploring new things to find how the new findings could benefit them.

Although NFTs are a part of the virtual world, it has become a real thing globally. And therefore, we decided to bring the real face behind Woman In Metaverse – Shruti Sood.

She is a curious mind who has always been looking out for new things to learn. And her quest for knowledge led her to NFTs. She became fascinated with the virtual world and decided to launch her venture based on NFTs – Woman In Metaverse.

What is Woman In Metaverse?

Launched on March 8, 2022, Woman in Metaverse NFT offerings celebrate women’s representation in the Metaverse, which is apparent from the name itself. Woman in Metaverse will put rare collectibles on sale, including artworks and AI-powered avatars. More than 10 thousand avatars suiting different moods, expressions, cultures, and professions are being offered. Additionally, these avatars can now be set as profile pictures on Twitter.

Woman in Metaverse avatars will come with multiple utilities and perks for token holders. Morning Lazziness, the parent company of Woman in Metaverse, plans to offer various benefits to the token holders. The token holders will be given free access to premium content published on Morning Lazziness’s online magazine website; they will also be given free entry to events and training programs conducted by the company. They will be featured in exclusive stories in the magazine.

“We are happy to announce this first-of-its-kind NFTs offering on Women’s Day,” said Shruti Sood, CEO of Morning Lazziness, “Our team has worked hard to make this project possible. With Woman in Metaverse, we want to increase the presence and popularity of woman in Metaverse.”

“NFTs have a tremendous amount of potential value in the coming future. The world is transitioning to web 3.0, and technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, and Metaverse are already beginning to take hold. When we speak about Non-Fungible Tokens, we might think of them as a gate pass into the Web 3.0 era of the internet. In addition to ticketing and artwork monitoring, these NFTs may be employed for various other usages, such as intellectual property & patent protection, metaverse identity management, records verification, social media profile pictures, etc.” She added further.

When we first came across Shruti, the founder of Morning Lazziness, we were instantly impressed with her vision. She’s worked tirelessly to create a publication that speaks to women from all walks of life, and it’s paid off: the magazine has received recognition worldwide for its articles and write-ups that are sensitive to women’s issues. Women write everything about the publication for women.

Shruti aims to empower women through a combination of positive messages and practical advice, focusing on entrepreneurship and healthy living. She believes that women can achieve anything they set their minds to, and she uses her own story as an inspiration for others.
